I made a wonderful pasta for Christmas Eve which our friends Susan and Nick shared with us.
We ate fab Indian food and lunched at the new Vegan Flava Cafe. Took our dessert to go.
Spent a lot of time in our kitchen...
And enjoyed some vegan chocolate chip cookies baked by Mom (me).
After a quick lunch at Weaver St. Market in Hillsborough, we strolled down the new walkway to see the new Patrick Dougherty sculpture that Tom helped build. It is amazing.
On Black Friday, in a very crowded Lord & Taylor in NYC, we found a quiet spot in which to lunch. Their very own cafe which, for some reason, is always relatively empty.
Baking without dairy products is a bit of a challenge. Luckily we have Isa Chandra's Snickerdoodle recipe. They are super crispy and very flavorful. In this cookie, you don't miss eggs or butter.
